What if theres a cop nearby?
[–]AngryData 2 points3 points4 points 1 year ago
Then don't ask people for drugs?

I gotta give credit to the cops.
The war on drugs is retarded, but it's a fact. If the cops had been, well, cops, they could have arrested all three and made their lives hell.
Instead, they scared the shit out of them and let them walk. That's policing I can agree with.

"Trying to buy drugs is a crime, but it's probably worse that they had to face their parents," Dutton said.
Is that true, that it's a crime? What's the crime, "conspiracy to purchase Marijuana"? Anyone else think there's a good chance the officer is just plain too stupid to know what the law is?

im not sure what the law is, but i am sure theres a good chance the officer is just plain stupid.
on a side note... I know a guy that got some jail time for selling undercover cops an ounce of fake blow.

Do you know if he was actually convicted of anything?
[–]AngryData 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago
You actually can get in trouble for selling fake drugs as long as you claim they are real drugs.
[–]stalk_of_fennel 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago

The man in the group turned out to be the father of one of the teens, and no citations were issued after the parents of both boys got involved. "Trying to buy drugs is a crime, but it's probably worse that they had to face their parents," Dutton said.
