Pigs just kicked in my neighbors door full swat team , at lest 20 of them. I watched it go down. The arrested him , his wife and took his kids away. In the court listings the next day it shows "POSS <2oz" for both of them. All that shit for simple possession? I'm appalled.

A swat team kicked his door down for less than 2oz of weed? Wow, that's ridiculous. Sometimes I forget that this shit still happens because I live in California. I want weed legalized, but sometimes I think it wouldn't really matter for me if it was. When I hear stories like this is, it really gives me a different perspective.

It's seriously fucked up man , I know white guys in the area with big rep, they have been doing things for 20 years and everyone knows, this dude smokes some pot and get a raid in his face, can't help but wonder if it's because he's black, I don't know, I'm just shocked.

Texas.

I'm really pleased to see this, both because of how I feel about drug prohibition and because the cops have been in the news for a lot of bad shit lately. I'm glad there are still good cops out there.

This is an automatically generated TL;DR, original reduced by 91%.

Statistics like a citizen being arrested for drugs every 19 seconds in 2010, and 1.6 million people incarcerated over drugs in 2009, were nothing compared to what he actually experienced in the front lines of the drug war on America's users.

For this officer in particular, it's much more than that: "The war on drugs is a war on people," he claimed.

Alcohol is a serious drug that can be abused, but I just didn't see the calls on other drugs like I had been led to believe.

Why would you want to destroy a person's future and cause them great harm, just over a pill?...

Because you're an ignorant, hypocritical religious-conservo-Republican (like the majority of the country), that's why!

[–]thumbgreen 2 points3 points ago

Corby is right though we currently do have a Democrat for President and hell we even had both the President and a Democrat controlled congress and did we see anything of that?

The moral of the story? Both parties have a fair amount of people that don't mind to destroy peoples lives over a little pill or a bit of bud.

Are you off your meds? This guy is actually on your side, and you bash him. I think you are vastly incorrect about the majority of the country, considering we have a Democratic President.

You sir are the ignorant one.

I think he was referring to the people who support the 'war on drugs', not the cop.

The majority of this country is conservo-republicans, yet Obama is in office?

What?

[–]alexroark 0 points1 point ago

The voting majority seems to be neo-conservative. Obama got his office because his campaign rallied up a record number of young voters. And now those voters have gone back to not voting, and we'll keep getting fucked over.
