I read a thread here a while back about best kinds of underwear and ever since then I have bought a pair or 2 every couple months. I never even knew the comfort I was missing out on. ExOfficio, Patagonia and UnderArmor briefs are the only ones I wear now unless I get really lazy on laundry. 100% happy with the switch.

Can't think of anything particularly unusual I'd use mine on, I'd just buy higher quality brands on some of the things I use now like headphones, sammich mats, liquor, whatever.

In general I'm not a materialistic person, but....cars. Lots and lots of cars. No idea why, I just love them. Love the engineering, performance, ergonomics, novelty of new ideas in the field, etc.

Disclaimer: I drive a 2002 Civic, so I've successfully resisted this urge, but my favorite pastime used to be test-driving cars at dealerships.

I would find my very first car, (1966 Rambler American) and buy it back from the current owner, and hire Chip Foose to do a complete frame-off restoration. Not just a version of my first car, but my actual first car. I know it's still out on the road somewhere, people see it every once in a while and let me know.

I still might do that in the next few years (minus Chip Foose).

I live my life comfortable on about $1200 a month. I don't own or want a big screen tv or the latest smartphone. The only way I can think to answer this question is to own a Love Sack-style bean bag chair, about 5' in diameter, stuffed with crumpled $100 bills.
