S02E01 of Charlie Brookers newswipe. While not focusing on a story that affected real life events, it demonstrates the importance of the entire media having a uniform and trackable narrative approach in it's approach to a story. Here's the youtubes for it:

There is one about Rede Globo, its the major network in Brazil and fourth largest public network in the world. I don't know if it helps, and it's a few years old, but I would say it pretty much stays the same these days. The channel even influenced an election.
