Suspect parents growing, could use some "expert advice" (self.trees)

Im not sure if i have been oblivious to this but around 5 years ago my mother ( who is divorced from my dad ) and her partner, installed a giant shed into our urban backward, the shed is about the same size as out 3 bedroom house. It has allways been locked but recently there was a gap in the door and ive noticed theres a large 7 foot high wall inside but it has bright neon lights hanging down a small amount from the roof, i informed my mother that the lights were on and returned to discover that there had been a garbage bag used to cover the slit in the door and the lights were still on, also their is music playing softly from inside there.

We have also had fence jumpers which is unusual as we live in a relatively good neighborhood.My father has also admitted to growing some at my uncles house around ten years ago.

TLDR: Are my parents growing, i know i cant be 100% sure unless confronting them, if im right any idea of their reactions.

Don't tell anyone else about it! They are being smart growers by keeping it quiet. I know it's tempting to tell someone, even if it's just a best friend, but that shit needs to stay classified. Talk to your parents about it if you want but please...DON'T TELL ANYONE!

Dont tell a fucking soul. I've had 3 of 6 crops stolen and I do NOT suggest A) Being Near the plants and B) Telling a single entity that they even MIGHT be growing.

The only reason why the crops I had went missing is because more than 1 person knew about them.

Lets say you tell your buddy Joe that your parents might be growing. Joe tells his buddy John, John knows where you live and BAM! one night John and his buddys show up and break in. You never know, your parents could be mixed up in some serious shit, if they are growing in massive quantities for a known supplier of your neighborhood. If he doesn't get his product, he could be pissed and then your parents then have a 10,000$ problem because their product was supposed to be flipped.

You do not want this on your head. People could get hurt, seriously.

Reasoning,

If you sample the crop, if your near the plants, if you know they are there, and they GO MISSING it's on YOUR head. As you get older, and as your parents find out you've been smoking, they will judge your perception of marijuana. It takes time to understand how to approach situations like this. They will come to you when they know your ready.

TL:DR If your parents see that you respect the plant, and treat their stuff with respect, and you can keep your mouth shut (no offense, but this is ESSENTIAL for any grower) they will expose you to it when your ready.

I'm not familiar with it ever working this way. In my limited experience, growers don't ever owe money to the distributors they supply. Unless you mean someone could have bought them the grow equipment and want a return on their investment?

What I meant by that, (not saying this persons parents are involved with gang activity) is that If a group of people have control over the entire market, and this persons parents are told specifically to grow for them, and they can't contribute because they were jacked. If the group of people who have control don't get what they need to maintain control, there could be a problem.

Completely different, but a clear example.

If you are selling coke, you get to know people looking for it. It is VERY hard to get out of the business because the people you know are the consumers. The producers of the product can and will fight to keep you selling.

That way, they only have to deal with the 1 transaction, instead of the 50,000 that you would have to deal with.

I have never been mixed in that business but had a good friend get tied up in it. He tried to clean himself up, get out of selling, all of a sudden 3 guys with guns showed up at his place and told him he could either keep selling for them, or get fkd up.

Or lets say said person paid for all the equipment and told them, "grow for me for the next 10 years, and we will supply everything, just keep that green coming."

Here's a story that may help you put this in context.

My daughter let her very close friend know that I smoked after we talked about it. Daughter was 16 or so. Fast-forward a month later, our house is burglarized and systematically vandalized by high school kids while we're away for the weekend.

Turned out to be the brother (and his friends) of the close friend's other best friend. They destroyed our house - kicked holes in the walls, spray painted, put out cigarette butts on our carpet, smashed the windows, and brought in our garbage from outside and dumped it on our bed.

Apparently they did so because they were upset that they couldn't find my stuff, as it was found later. Insurance only paid about half, and the kids weren't worth going after in civil court.

Moral of the story: Keep your fucking mouth shut if you care about your mom. If you don't like her, then open it up and wait for the shit to fly. (if this sounds blunt, it's meant to be. This is a big deal.)

Are you in a medical state? Otherwise tell them that if they are growing they really need to make sure that there isnt it any security leaks. You dont want them busted. And please be mature and dont try to use this against them if you get in a fight with them.

I agree with everyone that has said not to talk to anyone else about it. It could create a very dangerous situation. But you should just ask her. Sit her down and have a conversation with her. Tell her what you suspect she's doing in a non-confrontational way and she'll probably open up to you. Unless of course it really is a sex farm.

With "neon lights"? I'm assuming what he saw were T5's, but still, any decent sex farm uses HPS.
