It happens all the time on /r/gonewild apparently. I had a friend who would post there, which was awkward, but besides the point. She was perfectly fine with it at the beginning, she actually really enjoyed it, and me being her only redditor friend, I was the unlucky person that got to hear her talk about how the internet appreciates her. But then she stopped and took everything down because people were sending her dick-pics in an amazing amass. Private messages about what they want to do to her, some of them hilarious, some of them legitimately terrifying. It was a very quick transition.

So take that, and put it on the level of world-wide viewership, and a much more public person. People know her name, address, cell phone number, facebook, email, favorite place to get coffee in the morning, what time she leaves the set.
