As a furry, I like that you're having an open mind about this. I would like to say that even though I am a furry, not all furries are into the pornography and fur suits and all of that. Most of us just do it to draw. For example, I became a part of the community to get new ideas and study different styles of others.

However, I honestly do not understand some of the porn on furry sites, like babyfur. But I don't condemn them for what they like. I, personally enjoy vore (pleasure of eating or the feeling of being eaten) but not the extreme kind. I also, like you, don't understand why some fetishes are more socially accepted than others.

The misconception that people make with furries is that it is not anything like bestiality. If anything it's like cybersex. You know when you have a guy chatting with a girl in an online chatroom, and he says he has a 8 inch penis, but in reality, he has a 5 inch one? He is self conscious about himself, and tries to make himself more attractive for both himself and the other person. That's kinda what furries do. My friend is a skinny, whimpy nerd, but his fursona is a muscular wolf. It's not always sexual, though. It allows people to be what they want to be.

Like when you were a kid and you pretended that you were a fish or a shark swimming in the water or a big tiger in the forest. It's just people imagining who (or what) they would like to be if they had the choice.
