Has there ever been a conspiracy theory that was proven to be true? by ghiiirocker1in AskReddit

Your reading in to what I am saying too much. You think that meeting in private means they are doing something to harm people because if they weren't they'd meet in public. Or maybe they are hashing out ideas without fear of the public criticism. Do you think all brainstorming should be done in public? You are placing your trust in conspiracy websites and "natural" product websites which have a vested in you going back and lapping up the shit that they spew. So why should you trust them. It is clear you have a paranoid and pessimistic view of the world which is really quite sad. It simplifies issues to evil and not evil which is an unrealistic world view.

Using Operation Northwoods is a distraction. It took place in a completely different time and era. I could say look at the Manhatten Project it is eerily plausible that we are going to drop a nuke in Iraq. Taking two unconnected events and connecting them to explain something else is not logical.

You are using the fallacy that because they keep their meetings private they must be doing something sinister. It is the same logic cops use when they say things like "why don't you want me to search your car you must be hiding something"

Economies were wealth is more evenly distributed are less volatile and have higher standards of living. So by redistributing wealth you help out the community as a whole.

It is called community, it is something that gets ignored in "indivudalistic" American culture. I DID IT ALL MYSELF, I PULLED MYSELF UP FROM THE BOOTSTRAPS. People who say that are oblivious to the things around them that enabled them to pull themselves up.

Incoming freshman year, what is the party scene like at SSU? by abehammyin SSU

[–]AtomicGarden 2 points3 points ago

The parties here are not like they are at Chico, SB or SLO. They are generally smaller and when they blow up they get rolled. You usually have to know someone, when your a Freshmen and a guy, by the time you find a party it will be getting rolled 15 minutes after you get there. If you really want to party join a Frat.

And don't come here and bitch how it isn't exciting and your not going to parties and making out with random girls. Embrace SSU for the smaller community that it is.

Obama: Drug legalization not the answer to cartels. by desitexanin politics

[–]AtomicGarden 0 points1 point ago

Yes thats why most of those services are heavily regulated by the government about what they can and cannot do. A libertarian would take away these regulations and it would leave us more exploitation.
