How does one carry whey protein on a air plane by lance_klusenerin Fitness

Korea. Tons of shit like that for cheap on gmarket (Korean ebay). Much of it straight off of the US military bases.

I live in Asia. 5kg of protein for $50 is pretty reasonable.

Nice. I remember seeing this months ago. I sent this to all my buddies and said something to the extent of "Just buy more powder wherever the fuck you're going."

Don't cave! (pun intended)

I find taking notes with pen and paper a substantially better way of organizing my thoughts. The ability to draw arrows to guide thought and discussion is (IMHO) a far superior means of recording what was discussed. Also quick sketches and drawing on the side of your page are extremely helpful.

Is "Let me know whenever you are free" correct sentence? Any alternative way of conveying the same? by ridhs84in TEFL

[–]BrianFlanagan 0 points1 point ago

I wasn't suggesting a professional message. I was asking the context in which the statement was being used because it will change the context of the statement.

Is "Let me know whenever you are free" correct sentence? Any alternative way of conveying the same? by ridhs84in TEFL

[–]BrianFlanagan 3 points4 points ago

I believe it's correct, but it does sound awkward because it's so wordy.

"When you're free, let me know."

Or possibly, "Let me know when you're free."

I should also ask, is this casual or professional? These are all fine for casual conversation. There are many more professional ways of expressing the same.

It was conditioning. The developers knew Canadians were too nice, so every young Canadian has now been robbed by a hitchhiker.

What happens when you drink real manly Russian Vodka by IamAnEngineerin funny

I'm pretty sure those comments are backwards. Usually when I drink a bottle of liquor, it's not sleepy time until I hit the bottom of the bottle, not before I unscrew the cap.

And most hard drinking Slavs I've pounded potato wine with can drink a 26er without blinking and a 40 in a few hours.

Yeah, you're right, 5MB/s. My mistake. A season of blurays episodes in about an hour.

2MB/s is slow. 5MB/s is average for free internet that usually included with rent. You can buy up to I think 10 or 15mbps, but I'm comfortable with cheaping out.

Edit: oops. MB/s. Not mbps

The first two months was an orgy of information. I have access to my previous university's electronic resources so I've been downloading tons of articles and I've picked up several books for my kindle reader. I'm up to about 7 books read and about 80 articles (about 50 read), as well as dozens of government reports and medical studies.

I've downloaded Mendeley and am keeping meticulous notes of everything I've read. I'm now in the organizing stage and looking for common themes. I'm also cross referencing based on concepts and geographic relevance. I'm currently spread out across several working location and am using dropbox to keep myself organized.

I can see myself slowing my reading, and doing some re-reading to help get a better framework of what I want to cover specifically in the space I'll have available. Also, where the gaps are in what I've read so far, so my future research is more guided rather than the GIVE ME MOAR orgy I've been experiencing.

I've also been pillaging bibliographies of the articles I've been reading to look for common links to make sure there aren't any seminal studies that I've been missing.

I've got some time coming to for vacation which I'll be using before I go back to school. Also, once I get a firm grasp of what I'll be doing next year, my bloodlust for studying should subside a little as my confidence increase.

Thanks for the comments though. I appreciate it.

I also started losing hair at 21. Tried rogaine for 2 years. In my experience, it did very little for me, but many others are happy with it so good luck.

I went the "put on 30 pounds of muscle and shave your head" route and am very pleased.

Good on you for taking action early. Best of luck.

Sometimes this is done intentionally. Been to Kyoto. Really cool... for about 20 minutes. If I lived there it would get annoying. But less annoying than being stabbed by a ninja. So whatever.
