How can you tell it's his skull that's flying off when he hits the bottom? Looks like a hat or something to me. I'll have to watch it again.

I'll take that Miata! It's too low to be functional but it looks great! Makes me miss mine.

Good luck! One of the best things you can do is get away from Utah and the culture there. Get out into the real world and meet wonderful intelligent people who have a variety of beliefs.

You are doing the right thing! Cheers!

How Do You Guys Feel About ///M Body Parts on non ///M Cars? by bmoss234in BMW

[–]CheckYourTotem 1 point2 points ago

I don't like it anytime someone is trying to fake their car to make it appear to be something it's not. That's rice right there.

But upgrading your car by using M performance parts. Sure. Just don't put an M badge on there or pretend it's something it's not. That's lame.

My stem looks about as dirty as yours and I've cleaned it a few times but never like this! Looks like you have a delicious little reward for your hard work.

You can also just send an email, which is what I did, worked great!

Either way, congrats on taking the first step. I just received my final confirmation from my local bishop about a month ago. I've never met the dude yet he was the one who had to approve my request. lol

As I watched this, I couldn't help but think this must have been what the early church felt like. by nildeeain exmormon

I don't think there's anything that makes him more credible. I mean, if you claim to be god there's not much credibility to gain. Either people believe or they don't. No one who has ever claimed to be god has had any real credibility.

I watched this a few nights ago as well. Talk about fascinating! What if this guy is correct? What makes him any less credible than anyone else in history who's claimed to be god? Just sayin!

Wow that's really nice.

Definitely not something you would want to daily drive. Better to leave this one in the garage for nice days.

Safety of Kratom? by Shwickin kratom

[–]CheckYourTotem 0 points1 point ago

Yikes!

I had some very painful episodes when I was on kratom full time. I mean SUPER painful. Almost unbearable pain. All because I was so constipated from taking huge amounts of kratom constantly.

In the end that was one of the reasons I decided it was time to quit. I tried just about everything I could think of but still I was super constipated. This in my opinion is one of the major downsides of kratom. Then again, I was only taking powdered leaf, no extracts, so I was taking a high volume of kratom, usually 2-3 tablespoons per dose, which is just a lot of dry plant matter for your system to digest, no matter how you look at it.

Anyone here who hasn't seen this movie, you're missing out. Hands down most original, insane, visually pleasing movie I've ever seen. by goingTofuin Drugs

I've never seen this one before but I just added it to my Netflix instant cue! I'll watch it tonight. I love these types of movies. Load up the bong, fire up the AppleTV, and get ready to blast off! Cheers!

A question for all of you Cougars... by thrownforgoodin byu

It's alright, it's expected. Especially since this is a BYU subreddit. I love my fellow BYU Cougars, even if they don't like my choices. I got nothin but love.

A question for all of you Cougars... by thrownforgoodin byu

[–]CheckYourTotem 1 point2 points ago

I can give you some insight as I am one of those folks. I was never concerned with my ability to get my ecclesiastical endorsement. I knew how to answer the questions. Don't we all? I learned very early in my life that answering those questions from the bishop honestly will get you NO WHERE. Seriously. So yes, I lied my way through it. I'm not ashamed to admit that, the church is a scam and I was lied to from church leaders many times, I won't go into it further but needless to say, I don't regret anything about my BYU experience.

As for those who think someone such as myself should leave BYU all together. Well, I suppose I could have done that, but at the time I wasn't ready to accept the full responsibility for my personal beliefs. Admitting what I REALLY thought would have meant I no longer go to BYU, my family would have freaked out, many of my friends would have freaked out, my life would have been severely impacted at that time. So maybe it wasn't ethical for me to continue going to BYU even after I knew the church wasn't true. But I wasn't mature enough to be able to handle the consequences of such a decision. I was getting a fantastic education and I loved the people there, the school, everything.

If I were to do it all over again, looking back now (I graduated 10 years ago), I would have gone to a different school. No doubt. But when I first went to BYU I really really hoped that the church was true. I hoped that going there would help me to gain a testimony. Didn't happen.

Anyways, I know many will judge me, that's fine. I am not ashamed of anything. I still visit BYU from time to time, I love the Cookies and Cream milk from the BYU creamery!!!! You Cougars know what I"m talkin about !!

Dmt: Carefully crafted insanity. by Laurence_of_a_Labiain Drugs

[–]CheckYourTotem 3 points4 points ago

Seems like a lot of work. I've explored SR a few times but have never bought bitcoins or anything like that. I would much prefer to purchase it from someone I trust. I have a family and a career which I can't afford to risk if something were to happen. I wish this stuff were all legal so we could buy from trusted sources. Prohibition just angers me to no end. Luckily I purchase my trees from a family member who grows it himself in an organic indoor garden, so I know what I'm getting, who's handled it, how it was grown, what strain it is etc. I'm somewhat picky about the cannabis strains that I enjoy so I need to purchase from a trusted source.

Anyways, prohibition makes this a shit show and makes this whole process more dangerous for all of us.

I would LOVE to have a place where I could go and get DMT from a trusted source, where there was someone who is experienced and could guide me through a DMT experience from start to finish.

Must acquire DMT.

I've never done it, but did a lot of LSD and shrooms back in the day. I would love to get a hold of some DMT but I have no idea whom I could get it from unfortunately. The folks I hang out with only deal in dank weed, nothing else.

A question for all of you Cougars... by thrownforgoodin byu

[–]CheckYourTotem 4 points5 points ago

I went to and graduated from BYU, also served a mission. I was like you, did a lot of fun things, stayed under the radar, and got straight A's all the way though. A few of my shenanigans included sneaking my GF into my room to stay over night, smoking weed in my apartment (6 guys, 4 of which were super TBM but my roommate smoked with me). Drinking straight hard alcohol constantly, in our room, on campus some times, before and during sporting events etc. It was hilarious because we'd go meet girls after getting totally hammered and they never had any idea why we were so fun to be around. lol. They were so innocent!

So the moral is, yes, there are others at BYU who are "cool man" like you and I. The trick is finding and friending them. I had a wonderful experience at BYU and I wouldn't trade it.

My advice is to find the cool folks, be yourself, stay under the radar, and above all, STUDY HARD IN SCHOOL. That's why you are there, don't let any of the partying get in the way of your education. I think this is an essential life skill as well. Now I have a beautiful family, a very well paying job that I absolutely love, and I still find time to hit the bong from time to time. It's all about maintaining priorities my friend!

Good luck, be yourself!
