That's not how it works for the casinos in my area of CA (Bay 101 and Garden City). Yes, you do have to start as a chip runner, but they also require you to attend a dealer school too.

Either way, I think it's better to get any job at the casino first, and then if necessary, attend dealer school.

I could give a shit less about costumes, it's withholding Day-1 DLC characters (like on marvel vs capcom 3) the pissed me off. That is not fucking acceptable.

If that wasn't bad enough, nine months later, they release "ultimate" marvel vs capcom 3. Fuck them. They are just trying to milk as much money as they can out of people and even though I played several capcom games competitively in the past, I will never give them another dollar again.

I used to play Street Fighter:3rd Strike, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom Vs SNK2 competitively several years back. I was a huge fan of everything that they were putting out onto the market.

Unfortunately that had to become a bunch of greedy fuckers and after the horseshit they pulled with Marvel vs Capcom 3, I decided to give up on them all together.

No more resident evil, no more fighters, no more capcom. I hope the go bankrupt.

For some reason I think I remember hearing they were going to be adding bars so it might be 21+ now. It's worth checking out though.

You also get $50 if your AA losses at showdown.

I wouldn't depend upon just those statistics alone. I earned an AA in Water/Waste treatment because it had a very high projected growth on the BLS. It's been almost a year and I still can't get my foot in the door.

Someone else in my family went to CC to earn his AA for X-ray tech, and he still can't find work either. Both of those jobs have high expected growth, but government hiring is at a standstill right now.

I am not trying to say that those types of people don't exist; they definitely do, and it is a real problem. My whole point was that I believe the proportion of people abusing the system is relatively small in comparison to the people who legitimately need these social services and wish they didn't.

FWIW, I hate the people who fraud and abuse the system as much as you do. In no way am I trying to defend them.

I think you underestimate the amount of people that legitimately need foodstamps these days. The amount of people receiving them has almost quadrupled since 2000, largely due to the loss of middle class jobs.

Sure, there will always be leeches, cheats and assholes, but with the way the job market is right now, I feel that the vast majority of those people using foodstamps don't want to be. They would probably much rather be back at there old jobs and earning their own way. Unfortunately that isn't an option for a lot of people.

You make it sound like 75% of the people getting foodstamps are scamming the system or just lazy, and I don't think that is true at all.

You're getting only 33% pot odds, so you could justify this call in a cash game, but to me, this is an easy fold in a tournament.

I don't even like this call in a cash game most of the time. Yes, he was 33%, but he didn't know that when he had the decision to make. He could have been up against AA, KK or even worse, another AK vs a pair which would have been a disaster. 33% is about the best you can hope for in a situation like this, so why not just fold the small preflop raise after so much action behind you?

Lethargy, lack of ambition (please don't downvote me for my experiences), and apathy towards certain responsibilities.

I've experienced similar symptoms, but it was only because I was smoking all day and every day. When you experienced those negative side effects, were you smoking heavily and regularly?

Now that smoke in moderation, I experience literally none of those side effects.
