Nevada, but this was taken heading home from the Laughlin River Run, about as near as I get to AZ.

No rudeness taken, it's the simplicity that I like.

Agreed, I have full leathers but keep the chaps in the bags for sudden rain or borderline temp drops to slip over my pants. Thanks, I pride myself on keeping the bike simple and shiny.

Yes it is, love it. Scored it basically new for $140 bucks. Was returned because the left cuff is slightly larger than the right. I didn't even notice the difference until I asked the salesman why it was so discounted and he told me.

Known as novelty helmets. Not DOT approved, more for fashion than safety.

We love this part of the country. Within a one hour ride of Vegas we have open deserts, mountains, and water.

I've been able to avoid the tumbleweeds typically predictable motion. Plastic bags are another thing, seems no matter what one does to avoid them they nail you.

Helmets are required in NV but it still amazes me how many riders wear fake helmets anyways.

Typically only wear the full face helmets on the sport bike, but you're right it would be safer.

Lol, yeah this was still when it was about 60 out. Even so had to open the jacket vents.

Are there any ironhead owners out there? I'm looking to add a 79-82 to the fleet and would like some insight from an owner. by imaginary_numberin motorcycles

Anything specific you'd like to know? I had a '77, was my first Harley picked up for $1700. Having heard of all the issues associated with ironhead's I fell in love with the sound nonetheless. No other Harley I've had since compares to that sound. After tearing it apart a few times for leaks I just gutted the engine and updated everything. SS pistons, Crane cam shaft, whole nine yards. Best thing I could have done in my opinion, maintains all the character with modern performance.

What's the most memorable way you've ever quit/got fired from a job? by sneeze_and_fartin AskReddit

I did, hence why I agreed with him on that bothering the customers. No one wants their customers to get the impression that employee's are talking about them. The incident was just the minor straw that broke the camels back on this manager. He was just an all around jerk, ended up getting fired later for sexual harassment.

I was working a busy Friday night server shift at an AZ Mexican restaurant when I stepped into the kitchen to explain a special order to the chef. Something to do with allergies I recall. I did so in Spanish as it was the chef's main tongue when one of the manager's yells at me to "speak English". I'd typically brush it off but I was still miffed from a previous statement he'd made so I ask him why. He tells me that it bother's the customer's, of which I agreed but expressed that we were in the kitchen where there are no customer's to be bothered and that it was easier to explain a potential medical issue to someone in a manner they can clearly understand. He went off on the most cliche rant about speaking English in America, concluding with "as long as you work for me you will speak English." To which half the kitchen staff, a witnessing bartender, another server, and I walked out on. We walked to the restaurant across the street where the kitchen staff had a second job and witness the Friday night implosion of our previous employer over drinks. My only regret was the hell we left our remaining coworkers in that night.

I have been signing "Anal Sex" in fancy cursive every time I use my credit card for a solid 2 months now. It doesn't seem to be a problem.
