Looks identical to my old room in Pennsylvania. Maybe it was a common design in 1902.

Dr. Pepper, I don't understand your math by polks13in funny

[–]In1earOutYourMother -2 points-1 points ago

10 cal per 8FL OZ. I assume the "20 FL OZ (1.25 PT) 591mL" means the bottle has a total of 20 FL OZ. So, there is 8(10cal) + 8(10cal) + 4(5cal) = 20(25cal) FL OZ in that bottle, even though the emblem on the side states there is only 20 calories in this bottle. Isn't this false advertising? Where are those extra 5 calories, Dr Pepper? IN THIS HOUSE WE OBEY THE LAWS OF THERMODYNAMICS!!

My little buddy has been dealing with cancer. Mom got him a new kitten today. Both are pretty tuckered out! by eyeballin aww

There is something so unnatural and unfair about a child getting cancer. I wish things were like in the movie "In Time". Miserable people like me will probably live to 100. I wouldn't mind give a decade or so away to a child. Prison "life" sentences would make more sense too.

Ignorance by FunkyGoosein Demotivational

I always imagined that ignorance wasn't so much a lack of knowledge, but more an active "ignoring" of it. These guys are screwed, but not because they refuse to acknowledge their situation.

I have lost too many friends over this. Reddit, which way is correct? by In1earOutYourMotherin pics

Uhm.... I guess ignore the whole switch thing, unless you have an opinion on that as well.

If this is not a reference to something, then you are a very funny person. If it is a reference, can you please tell me where you heard it? Google got nothin'.

My friend's son died and the pic he carries of him is wearing out. Can anyone restore it? by ciscomdin pics

I think people over reacted. I just simply meant to throw out that perhaps in delicate situations like this, the act of presenting the father with a new image of his son might not illicit the response he was expecting. It could go anywhere from moving (the response I assume the OP was expecting), or de-railing the father's attempt to deal with this situation in his own personal way. I personally would not like someone photoshopping an image of a lost relative. It was THAT photo that meant something to me, an altered fabrication might also illicit other responses. I dunno... I just tried placing myself in the father position for a moment (not that I couldn't really know without experiencing HIS life), but I don't think I would like it.

Yeh, I guess reddit is the one place where someone's opinion can be wrong.

Friend of mine died in grade school. His dad and sister seem OK these days, but the mom will not let anyone get rid of his stuff or even go into his room, it is like a time capsule. His sister tells me she even still keeps a place for him at the table. Both sister and father regret not helping her move on. He died 20 years ago. She is still a complete wreck and from what I understand the sister and father (admit to) sort of enabled this by letting her keep the room the way it is, letting her make set a place for him, get him gifts each year...

Not to be a dick, but wouldn't it help to not restore this in order to help your friend move on? I think presenting a polished image would be moving but also rather depressing, since now they will have another image to cling onto. Sorry, maybe I am completely wrong.
