Combat Rating is nothing more than all the levels of your equipment divided by the number of equipment pieces. It includes pieces you have in the bank and inventory, as well.

It is a fun time killer. Most missions take at most 10 min to complete, but they get pretty pointless once you've collected nearly all pokemon.

You are incorrect. I have finished Oolong T2 Island with a team of 4 DPS. It can be done, but it requires a good team, a team that knows what they are doing and how to take advantage of the new system. Playing the old way will get you killed.

The healing buff is not weak. You have to learn to block so it can regen you. You have to spread damage. You get the aggro, you block until you are 75%+ life (when the buff gets disabled unless you are a tank) or someone else gets aggro. Then you attack, rinse and repeat. I've met a few bosses that can kill you despite the buff, but those are the same bosses that can kill you while blocking (Nightwing on Outer is an example).

You have to stick together and attack the same target. Spreading and going one-on-one doesn't work.

How the heck you defeated the last boss? I get him down to an inch of life, and then he starts doing infinite slashes and that crazy lunge and whatnots, and I can't touch him anymore.

Let yourself die. Then the kappa will appear somewhere on the map. Go to that zone and every enemy will drop 5 coins instead of 1.
