Thank you to all of you for your fantastic advice, and words of support! I love this community.

An update, and some blanket answers to questions:

I am totally dependent on my mom financially. I have no car, and no job. She has access to all of my bank accounts. Essentially has me by the nuts. Her boys are still her babies, no matter how old we get. Not one of us has ever been in a relationship because she makes us feel stupidly guilty about it. She manipulates us, turns every argument to us being in the wrong, and we always come to believe it. As such, I did end up deleting the posts, and spent the night playing damage control. I convinced most people that my half brother had gotten on one of my computers while I was distracted and posted those. I'm a spineless idiot.

I told some of my better friends who asked if I was "for real" that I in fact was. They were all very cool with it.

This morning: I woke up, and nothing had changed. I don't get it. You can feel in the air that everyone's still off, but I wouldn't dare bring it up even though I think it would be good. It's like she's decided that the whole family is going to forget last night even happened. I think I'm just going to ride this out for the rest of the summer, and get an apartment once school starts back up again. So long as it would appear I'm still welcome here it's in my nature not to push it. Even if I did bring it up again it would just end the same way as it did last night. However this time without me being as fortunate the morning after.

I thank you again for being such awesome people in helping me through this. Y'all are like family to me.

I'm in the same situation. I came out to my parents about a half a year ago now. They seemed cool with it, they don't treat me any differently or anything. However, it seems kinda like they've just chosen to ignore what I told then after that first night. Never said anything after that. I guess it's good that literally nothing has changed, but at the same time I feel like I was kind of hoping for some kind of change. Eh, whatever I suppose... I still feel uncomfortable dating maybe it's the atmosphere, probably just my general upbringing though. I'll probably end up having to ask my mom for permission to start dating at 20 years old, ha ha... I hate myself. ಠ_ಠ

Not a bad movie... The ending left me kind of confused though. Why did she send Tony away? He seemed like a nice guy, hadn't done anything wrong. Come to think about it, really everyone in this movie was a massive cunt except for Ste. Ste was a pretty cool guy.

First of all, Sigourney Weaver is bawlz awesome.

Second, thank you for posting this link. I had never seen this film before tonight, so glad I did. I cried, and it felt good. Made me think a lot too. I don't know why I'm still so afraid of being gay. I've already told everyone I care about, and this movie really got me thinking about that for whatever reason.

5/5 will watch whenever I need to cry.

Edit: I thought about it, and I decided that despite proclaiming myself an Atheist, I was still afraid. I thought it would be real easy to quit religion because of the whole "Why would god do this to me then blah blah blah." That story, and I never really thought of myself as being a religious person. In fact I'd always possessed a rather large contempt for it. I see now that I was wrong. Goes to show you that you really do never know anyone as well as you think you do, because they don't even know themselves. Along with my acceptance of my lingering spirituality, I finally decided to come out on Facebook. I'd already told my parents, my brothers, most of my friends that I'm gay. However, for whatever reason I've continued to stick with my in the closet mentality because I still hated me. Who knows, I might still, but at least I realize that I do now. I'm going to wake up, and I'm going to be a different man. I don't know that this was a direct result of the film, but it certainly helped.

MFGG was massive penises. The concept was absurd, and not very "Gundam". I mean, if it hadn't had gundam in the name I could have forgiven it. However, IMHO it is a blight on the franchise. SD Gundam was more "Gundam" than Mobile Fighter G Gundam. My personal favorite was 0083, closely followed by 08th MS Team which is currently tied with Unicorn. Sorry to stray from the general consensus here, hope it doesn't rake in too many downvotes!

Okay, maybe you could pull discrimination if you could say with certainty that he wasn't joking, or was depriving them of something, but you cannot call that racism. There was no malice, or ill intent in his actions. Louis C.K. does not hate the melanin enhanced, and if that footage is your only evidence that he does, then you sir have no case. Chris Rock, have you ever seen his standup? If anyone in that video can be called a racist it's him. Tracy Morgan is laughing when he does it to him. I introduce myself as "One of dem faggots. Yup, yup." I don't see any reason why a word should make me angry. It's also a very nice way to... absolve(?) persons who would make gay jokes while you were in the closet of their guilt. You don't really think about it, but it's got to be a signifigant moral burden on them. Especially if they were some of your best friends. In continuing to use the language yourself, you remove its power. To get your panties all in a bunch because someone uses a word is just fucking stupid.

The same thing with whenever people say "Oh that's so gay." and gay people get all offended. Don't get offended, it's a good thing! Gay is taking on yet another meaning. Raise your hand if you still use gay to express joy! No one? That's what I thought. Let gay come to mean something bad, and ten, twenty years down the road it no longer is an offensive word.

I say (I'll censor it so that people don't get all up in arms, even though the word is still implied so I don't understand why people would freak out...) "THE N WORD" around my melanin enhanced friends in the same context people use "gay" nowadays. They say "faggot", and "queer" around me. No one gets angry, and it's always a good time. Why? Because we've reached an understanding that, while no one likes the current connotations of the words, they're pretty fun words to say!

Thanks, I think! I've had a lot of time to plan it. The earliest thought I can remember about this fantasy was when I was a humble little 6 year old at Christmas. My parents had purchased for me a little lunar colony play set, and I would act this out with it (Granted it was much more primitive an idea back then). I guess it's the type of thing most guys eventually grown out of. I just never hit that stage, and the plan's just continued to grow ever since.
