Not related, but if that '93 show is the New Year's one, check out KernelForbin's remaster. It's seriously ridiculous and if you haven't heard the Hood from that show, go get it now!

This! For the first few shows, I used to try and take pictures and/or record a video many times during the show. However, there are going to be countless videos on YouTube the next day and with people like HarpuaFSB and mkdevo recording the entire show in 1080p, there's really no reason to do it yourself. I still take a picture or two sometimes, but I've found it much more enjoyable to just leave the phone in my pocket and not worry about it until the show is over.

Probably. Why not just go to whatever section you want and try your luck if you're dead set on looking for better seats? It's a Phish show after all. My friend and I had 300/400s for MSG this NYE run and simply went into the 100s every night and spent the entire show there without a problem.

Do not take l on Friday, especially if it's your first time. In my experience with multiple day runs, it's nice to get a feel for the venue, location, the lot, etc. before tripping. I always feel more comfortable knowing my way around and having a feel for the scene when spun out than just jumping straight in. However, that's just my personal opinion. There will be plenty of fun to be had all 3 nights so I would recommend it you take it easy the first night and get settled in and rage the next two.

Other than that, just relax and enjoy the shows. You have a wonderful and magical surprise in store for you.

I go to UA, but I took an embedded systems class and highly recommend it. You learn a lot of very useful information which could be applied across many fields in the modern world. I also took PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and that was a pretty easy and fun class. I believe it's very applicable to jobs too, but maybe not for what you want to do.

How old are you, OP? It's understandable if you're a little young, but there's nothing scary about going to shows/festies alone.
