You're better off using rigid fibreglass insulation covered in fabric—cheaper and more absorbent than acoustic foam. Here's some good avice on acoustic treatment:

Ear damage is relative to your listening level, not the type of headphones. But headphones that let in lots of outside noise may encourage people to listen at higher volumes.

Not every man is able to create mutual attraction completely naturally. Some need a more specific set of skills that they can practice and improve on. The great thing is that you can choose which of these techniques you want to apply in your own life. I disagree with a lot of the material that is posted there, so I ignore it and stick with the stuff I do like.

Seddit also generally discourages wasting your time on a specific woman who is obviously not attracted to you (they call this "oneitis"), and to instead approach more people to practice your social skills and find ones who are. It's impossible to become more attractive instantly, you have to put some effort into it.

I am not frogma. Seddit is not frogma. If you disagree with what frogma said (and I'd certainly agree with you), tell him so. But please don't take it out on a random person who happens to subscribe to the same subreddit.

This analogy implies that sex is just an item of value that men want and women reluctantly give out. Women want to have sex too! The goal of seduction is not to manipulate women into having sex that they don't want to have, it's simply to become more attractive to them.

It's obvious that some PUA's are indeed sexist assholes, but the vast majority of us are just trying to improve our own social skills. How is that a bad thing?
