Yeah it was a road race alright. I took the lead at 1k as I felt it was a little slow and didn't look back. I had to run into the wind for the whole 2nd mile on my own but it was worth it to get under 16 minutes.

First time I feel I have an achievement worthy of this thread. Yesterday I won a 5k in 15:54. Previous best was 16:38. Ran flat out from the start, lead the whole way and held off a fast finishing second place runner by one second. First time I've ever won a race. Best feeling ever!

Think of you lungs (aerobic capacity) as the engine and your legs as the chassis. It sounds like you have a powerful machine but are stuck in a low gear. Give it time and you aerobic capacity will improve with steady mileage and you'll get there.

1.How long you've been in hip-hop? 3 years

2.What got you in it? Came across A Tribe Called Quest as a freshman in college. Then De La Soul. The rest is history.

3.What was your first album? My local library had The College Dropout. Jesus Walks was all over the radio and I liked what I heard and wanted more. I wasn't disappointed.

4.Name a timeless track for you? Memory Lane, Nas.

5.Name your favourite song for the moment? Everything is Everything, Lauryn Hill.

7.Name your favourite rapper right now: Black Thought (listening to a lot of The Roots lately) Don't have much to say on new rappers.
