LPT: Never tell anyone that you have a job interview. by sports2012in LifeProTips

I remember seeing some study that confirms this... You want to avoid feeling any satisfaction or pride imagined or not before you finish otherwise it hurts chances of success.

Here's a study that talks about it but I don't think it's the same as what I was saying PDF

Yes but they weren't sure it would be effective and didn't want to risk it . Turns out it would be... The article states as much.

Well, in fact, they thought of it. They thought hard about it. Dust accumulating on the solar arrays was clearly a big problem - that's why they could only officially promise a 90-day mission. They badly wanted to include some sort of dust-clearing system. But there were compelling reasons why they couldn't.

Or Empire Earth where entire cities or naval fleets appear fully formed from the head of Zeus as long as the computer has enough fog of war to cheat.

I remember leaving scouts all over the place, especially in Cities I just destroyed to prevent the computer from rebuilding... only to find that they dropped off a bunch of raiders in my main city from some boat launched from a harbour they didn't have.

Most countries apply automatic copyright to any work applied to a medium (that is if you haven't put your idea down on paper and it's all in your head it's not copyrighted.) Registration makes it easier to prove when you copyrighted the work.

What is the fascination with Sublime Text 2? by ZestyOnein webdev

[–]OriginalSyn 0 points1 point ago

I'd say the only neat feature I liked about Sublime I'd like in Vim is the thumbnail preview of the entire document and were you are in it. But it's not compelling.

If your goal is to write code efficiently, then learn vim. I was a die hard VS.NET and Notepad++ editor until I started my current job. I decided to give vim a good earnest try. Immersion is key, it took about a week to be as efficient in my previous editors and about a month to far surpass it.

Better yet, test them with Chrome Developer Tools, it versions the css changes you make and allows you to save the CSS file at any revision.
