What's your "go-to" conversation starter?

My go to conversation starter is to mention my many years as a bouncer in the bar.

Depending on who I am talking to I can gear the story towards something very interesting and captivating to a major fight story. If its all girls ill tell something interesting and compassionate that they will enjoy, or if its a guy ill tell them a story about me headbutting someone or breaking a guys arm to disarm a knife.

Its quite an interesting career and telling stories is my favorite part.

Me and my older cousin taught his brothers son "yoink". This is where you walk up to someone holding something, grab it fast and hard, and yell yoink and run off.

As soon as he had grasped the concept he ran right up to my father who was clearing the grill of steaks and ribs and grabbed the plate and dropped it onto the grassy lawn. he promptly looked around all horrified, screamed "YOINK!" and ran off crying to his room.

Me and my cousin sat and just howled in laughter.

While I cant stand the show at all, the host was actually quite gracious about the fan being there, and I was glad to see he treated him well and went and got him some swag from the van.
