it might be more expensive but i'm using 3 dell u2410's for my rig and its nice and bright, colors are poppy, and its actually pretty responsive for an IPS screen. though if you can wait i'm sure dell will release a 2013 model soon enough

your windows sound increases source volume while your speakers only amplify what it's receiving. I suggest leaving windows at 100% and adjusting your speakers as needed, unless for some reason 100% gives you distortion in which case lower it to 80% or so.

Its like resizing a small picture to be large (which will turn out pixelated and blurry) vs created a large picture in the first place

Guild Wars 2 requirements are pretty low, you should be fine on your GTX 550 Ti. If you are looking to upgrade though, the GTX 670 just came out and is in stock on new egg. and is $100 cheaper than a GTX 680 for a negligible drop in performance. plus it's way hard to find a decently priced 680

I've worked with laser printers before, but at my new job we had a new printer (to me) and had to change out the "waste toner catridge". The printers at my old job arent heavy duty enough to have those; not knowing what it was, i just pulled it out and spilled waste toner everywhere... even helpdesk tech's derp

i believe CA law states that you cannot go onto a premises who's main purpose is the sale of alcohol (i.e. bar). make sure to read your state laws word for word and see if there's any specifics that can be reasonably interpreted to confirm your thoughts

you'd have to find some in depth reviews like digital versus to find the input lag values. the problem is signal sources are 60hz so when the TV/monitor does a conversion to 120/240, it takes a bit of time and could has horrid lag. I played uncharted 3 on my 240hz tv and while it was insanely beautiful, it was almost unplayably laggy.

word of caution, 120/240hz tv's tend to have major input lag, probably not good to be playing fast twitch games like FPS's on them
