Viability of using casters as AD carries?

The problem with casters as carries is that most lack good base stats, steroids, and AA animations. Kennen is viable due to his high base stats, snappy AA animation, and the passive of his W ability, which makes him different from other mages. M5 noticed the peculiarities of Kennen's kit and did well with him a while back as a lot of people will remember. Other mages simply lack these stats and will get outclassed by normal ad carries.

I'm assuming top lane so here we go: AD bruiser nid will be a stronger laning force but will have less teamfight presence than AP nid. AD nid is also a farmer/pusher, making her very boring to play but better in solo q due to her dueling and pushing abilities. AP nid can work well in solo q, but not as well. She works very well in a "poke" comp due to her insane damage spears and can easily shove people out of a fight, but in solo q most of what will happen in teamfights is a quick initiation, which doesn't suit her well AP. AP is also a lot fun imo. The satisfaction of landing a top-range spear is simply unmatched. Chunk. So, there isn't really an answer other than try both and decide which suits you better.

It's not very strong. He has no cc, his e is unreliable and his q does no damage ap. His ult does not that much more damage vs. ad and w becomes his only reliable skill. His passive is also useless.

Lol has, in my opinion, one of the best models in their riot points. You COULD play the entire game for free and not be at a disadvantage to other players that pay, but you earn things slower and can't buy stuff like skins. I've spent so much money on that game because of the way the reel you into getting stuff faster by paying and such. But I have so many hours played on that game it's probably worth it.

Yeah, he taught a few grades above me when I heard about this. Had some high school friends tell me that the teacher was just sarcastic and the kid was probably being a little butthurt. Never knew that guy though, so I can't judge for myself.

Fiora hypercarries harder, being an ad champ with a massive steroid. But, you are asking about a mage and a dps top, not two champions of the same category or even lane. Brand will do better early-mid game but kinda falls off later and has more of a teamfight presence than Fiora, but if you're looking for that 1v5 penta put-team-on-back type champion then Fiora is better IMO.
