If a Gas Giant with a rocky core migrated inwards toward a star and had its gasses "blown off" by solar wind over time, what would its exposed core look like?

If you are talking about metallic hydrogen as the planet's solid core then it would most likely cease to exist in that form and be relegated to liquid and then gaseous hydrogen

That much I know, actually. Based on basic physics, as more and more hydrogen is blown off by the solar wind, the metallic hydrogen will eventually be converted to gas until, eventually, it all gets blown off (thus the multiple billion year timeline). After that, the only thing left will be the small rocky core consisting of more terrestrial matter.

But what might that look like? What properties would it have? Surely spending a few billion years being compressed by an entire Gas Giant's internal pressure would make it look (and act?) different than something like Mercury or Mars.

That's exactly what would be left behind - I think, anyway. I'm wondering what properties said metals might have after spending a few billion years at the center of a Gas Giant.

DISCLAIMER: I can't cite a source for this, I saw it in a documentary some time ago.

I've been told that when our fight or flight reflexes are triggered, we do use more of our muscle fibers than we would normally. This phenomenon is generally responsible for reports of individuals performing superhuman feats in situations of extreme danger.

Many people respond to trauma by trying to bury it as deeply as possible and forget/pretend it never happened. Combine that with the feelings of intense guilt and shame associated with rape and I think it's reasonable to see why going to the police and essentially having to relive the experience would be a scenario they'd desperately try to avoid.
