I had the same disappointment when I heard they cast Ledger. Then I saw one of the early teasers with no video footage from the film, just an image of the bat logo slowly growing to fill the screen with some audio snippets mostly from Alfred and Bruce, then at the end you can hear Heath's Joker say a short line and then laugh and just from that short burst of laughter at the end I knew he had fucking NAILED IT.

I was actually excited to see The Rite with Anthony Hopkins but ended up being just as bored as every other possession/exorcism movie.

I'm actually tired of horror movies in general, especially exorcism films. Which is why I talk up the ones that actually surprise me with quality beyond my expectations.

The Last Exorcism and Jeepers Creepers are my two favorite underrated horror movies.

I was surprised by how good The Last Exorcism was but that might have been because I was forced to go and had very low expectations. I just wish it was The Last Exorcism movie.

I got mine back in those days as well. I was able to get just my name without any additional characters, had it for years.
