As a beginner who's never flown a FBL I'd say go FBL as I'm pretty sure it's the future.

IMHO the flybar will slowly fade off into the sunset same as the liquid powered machines will be.

I'm very fortunate to have 5 acres up on the edge of a small valley.

It's been great for flying my TRex 450...cept the wind can be too strong at times.

I definitely want an airplane so that I can go farther out over the valley though :O)

I stay mostly in town however and so I fly in a park/school yard/somebody's private vacant lot...which all mostly suck.

No clubs for me.

I've seen and heard enough from tons of different sources. I've come to my own conclusions which just so happen to coincide with AJ's enough that I find listening to AJ a breath of fresh and honest air. He sees the reality, that history has taught, the same as I do. I'm not "buying" into anything. Unlike the majority we are capable of learning from history.

I can't tell you how bummed that makes me. The DVD's are just to expensive for me to buy as well. :O(
