I don't think the pockets looks bulky and awkward, but fashion advice in general is to never "just live with it". Hold out for something better. The jacket looks fine though.

Just wear black socks. I'd go for lowtops because they more mimic a normal dress shoe (dress shoes don't come in hightop)

No man should ever wear tall rainboots like that. Go for something shorter and manlier. That being said, no, rain will not fall into the top of the boots. There's always a gap in mine and I've never had that happen. And don't listen to the guy who said "wear baggier pants with them", that's ridiculous. Slim pants for tucking into boots, or else you'll look like a lumberjack. Even the picture he showed looks horrible.

J Crew, I actually didn't realize had DRESS shirts, I thought they only had OCBDs, unless I'm using that word wrong, those are the casual ones, right? Either way J Crew, Banana, Gap, all good places, but they won't measure you.

All of these look really good! I really don't get this new cardigans-on-men thing, but it works on you. I agree with everyone on the shoes. I do like white shoes with all the outfits but change them cuz those particular ones are weird. White boat shoes/other loafers or just white sneakers.. AF1s or Converse Allstars? Don't listen to the haters about the red hoodie, it's shocking for like 2 seconds and then it just looks fresh. All in all, pretty solid collection :)

Yea, I kind of hesitated to put them there, but figured they'd be better than what he has, simply by trying it on in a store! Where did you find a store guide in the sidebar? The only thing I could find was someones unofficial list of brands, which isn't exactly helpful (name dropping Alexander McQueen and Hermes isn't going to help someone find a store to shop in, unless they live in the Hamptons). I'm curious because I'd like a few suggestions myself.

As for a shirt, I don't know what your price range is, but any department store will have people there to fit a shirt for you. I'd say you can get a decently priced shirt at Nordstrom. Macy's might work, depending on how good your Macy's is (some are better than others). If all else fails, try a chain suit place like Men's Warehouse or Jos. A Bank? Their stuff might be shitty, but at least you'll be able to try it on, get feedback, and change sizes according to what you need. Basically just don't order offline again :)
