My mother get her novel published. After losing her husband (and my dad) to cancer when I was 7 years old, she spent her whole life working hard to make sure I had a normal childhood and enjoyed life. And now I've left home, she has more time to write her novel, which she is doing. Her first passion has always been literature, which she did her degree on, but her whole life has been finding ways to prevent her from doing it properly. Now she has a chance and I really hope she makes it.
