Yes but Walt is clearly disturbed which is why he needs the sleeping pills in the first place. Why is he so disturbed? Because, he knows it was his fault and is he is having to work extremely hard to keep a handle on it.

He holds much remorse, it just manifests itself in other ways. Think back to his overcompensated speech in the high school gym about the plane crash. Which itself demonstrated just how much research he had done in the area.

I do agree this was a major turning point for him and was likely one of the main reasons he tried quit the business completely. But ultimately, Walt acts in the moment, taking huge risks for what he believes in and quite often against his better judgement and I think this shows that he isn't sociopathic.

I once brought my gf a glass of whiskey after she had asked me to bring her in some apple juice. There was ice in it and it was a pretty thin glass so she literally had no clue.

What you're missing though it's how truly terrible I felt immediately after she left. The mere fact that I didn't run after was more about me trying to stay in some sort of rational state and not forget everything we'd just discussed.

There seems to be quite a few posts along the lines that she shouldn't have to put up with this any longer. I agree and don't see it as up for debate. The question I'm tring to get to the bottom of is, is the pain that I'm currently feeling a sign I should listen to and that no matter how much I feel I don't want to get married/kids, I should do it because something deep down doesn't want this to be over.
