shitty troll is shitty.

I don't know, based on some of the detailed responses to his trolls, I'd say he's not half bad. 7/10 at least.

It looks seriously tasty! I eat meat once every couple of weeks, but when I do, it's something similar to what you posted ;)

The juices that don't get incorporated back into the steak are then discarded by gravity. You get a juicy steak without the mess.

I usually follow Alton. I rest it on top of a turned-over bowl on a plate. Turns out perfect every time.

A question for Wheel of Time fans. by walkarin books

[–]bobovski 1 point2 points ago

Seriously, my main problem is time. When I don't have to work (about a month to a month and a half a year), I read a lot. Problem is, with Jordan's stuff, the series has become so epic, that I have to re-read earlier books to get back into the story line. Should I read Jordan in the time I have off, or should I read Neal Stephenson, the latter promising things to be wrapped up in three 1000-page books. The latter is more economical for me.

I have to say, you're really tempting me though :)

They're medium rare so that's just blood and juices, even the puddle on the whole one.

How long did you let them rest before serving?

I'm not afraid of long novels, though I don't usually have a lot of time for reading. What I don't like, however, is series that go on for too long, which I feel the Wheel of Time did. Thanks for educatin' me on what happened after Jordan died.

I don't know who Sanderson is, but I think Jordan is a competent, albeit repetitive, writer. I think his ideas are better than his prose, and he tends to overuse expressions. I ended up not finishing the Wheel of Time series because of this (Jordan fatigue, as it's known in my house), but I still go back and re-read portions of the first few occasionally.

Oddly enough, the website in question is weonlymostlyhatecrosby.com. So, the poll result was somewhat expected.

I'm guessing the dudes in /r/malefashionadvice are the same douchecanoes that are in /r/seduction.

I haven't met one asshole from the first that also didn't post in the second, so you may be on to something. /r/malefashionadvice offers the worst of reddit in one convenient package.

What's the best super strat style guitar that I can get on a budget? by chezkakin Guitar

[–]bobovski 4 points5 points ago

Wow, the Pacer Classic looks pretty great. I love this quote from Kramer's website

...as Steel Panther's Satchel told Gibson.com recently, "I’ve got a white Kramer Pacer, and that just goes with every outfit. That’ll go with my purple spandex, my zebra spandex, everything. And I’ve got a lot of spandex, so it’s good to have a versatile guitar that’ll go with your spandex."

Fucking rock on.

Oh, to answer your question: I don't know. I'd suggest the used market, I guess.

Kramer striker.

I agree, if you can find a well-made one. Some Kramers suffer from QC issues. Always play before you pay.

Depending on your area, you can pick up some fantastic early 90s Japanese Jacksons on craigslist for $250-$350.

It looks like your basic needs are taken care of and you have enough disposable income to afford pot, the occasional show ticket, and a smartphone. If we were to put you in a room with a random sample of 100 other people from this planet, you would probably be in the top 15%. You're doing just fine, kid.

Go fuck yourself you ignorant twat.

Aww, now you're making me blush!

How did a guitar tone somehow manifest itself into a whole genre?

Genre nerds won't stop until there's a unique word to describe every metal band out there.
