Google 'federal analogue act' and read the wiki... Whats in this legal blend stuff is just a synthetic cannabinoid.

I'm not exactly sure but for the feds to have a case, this herbal blend would have to be reminiscent of a schedule 2 or higher drugs chemical structure, It doesn't mimic cannabis or Marinol because its just one cannabinoid.

The only legal grounds the feds could have are if the head shop is marketing it for human consumption, then the FDA could step in OR if they were selling it as weed.

IDK I've been getting into learning about laws and stuff JUST recently so I could be wrong, but I think if we can get the shop owners name, there should be public records of USA vs xxxx xxxx and we can find out all the motions the lawyers filed and what charges we're brought upon him somehow...

I was reading about the federal analogue act section of the controlled substance act.

I'm pretty sure that these alternative cannabinoids can't be treated as any type of controlled substance analogue, so with a good lawyer this guy should be alright.

I would like to see what happens next, where can you find the documents online to see where this case goes?

I used to be a hardcore smoker like 4+ blunts a day. I'd scrape bowls and smoke roach papers & stems if I was dry; until I was put on probation for a year.

The first year is hard but you know you can do it if you have to...

Now I can smoke for weeks straight every day and then just quit and not feel the urge to smoke at all after the first day or two of not smoking. It really is not addictive once you learn how to quit once.

I don't smoke regularly anymore, but whenever I do smoke up, I'll buy say a quarter and then just smoke out for a couple days and then stop for a while...

The first few days can be very depressing & extremely boring, but it all comes down to finding your natural rhythm, drinking energy drinks and not falling back on other drugs like alcohol...

Oh man, I drove through Corpus Christi on my way to California and stopped at a Waffle House and the people had nothing but bad things to say about the police there and instructed me to be VERY careful.

But I was too amused by the fact I could smoke in a restaurant to care though.

Overall the people there are very nice but they didn't seem very intelligent compared to us city folk.

Well for one, pot is one of the most used drugs next to alcohol in the country, law enforcement makes a killing on property seizures for trafficking and what-not.

Wow, free leads for the police... Think about it, now the police have a bunch of names to add to their databases, it's like these people are doing their job for them.

It seems like there is more to this story though, I don't think cops would unconstitutionally raid a building just to get these petitions alone, I could see them legally being able to take these documents as 'evidence' in the event of a lawful warranted raid.

Well, I am for all causes, but maybe it is better to donate to the legalization front in your area, like I live in FL so there is a cause called PUFMM. Organizations like these need as much support as possible, so help them by gathering petitions and donating money to all fronts.

Seems like there is going to be A LOT more of this "M.D. Propaganda" floating on the web, the fact is, right now, weed is medicine and is becoming more decriminalized by the second.

There are always fools trying to 'fight' or resist any strong movement, to get themselves some publicity?

a true long term side-effects study would take years of monitoring both post and pre conditions before and after habitual smoking patterns, years later you could use that as evidence to conclude any type of long term damage and even then, the law regulated who could perform these 'official studies' and more importantly 'who could even afford the equipment to do such studies'
