Well, now that I think about it the chain isn't super essential to the story aside from the battle itself and mabye Davos. But Blackwater will be so awesome that it won't even matter.

My father manages a civillian hangar on a USCG base and accidentally activated their Deluge about a year ago. Something about removing a maintenance key that caused the arming mechanism to spring open. He called it a $50,000 mistake, but was absolved of any wrongdoing since the maintenance tech left the key in the first place.
