Tony Romo ranked as the 91st best player in 2012. by NJknickin cowboys

I misread it then. My apologies! Nevertheless I'm still disgruntled by the ranking!

Tony Romo ranked as the 91st best player in 2012. by NJknickin cowboys

[–]dafanman88 14 points15 points ago

I don't have much faith in any rankings decided by a fan vote e.g. The pro bowl. Many fans are tshirt fans with very little knowledge about the game and what makes a player truly great.

I remember once on espn Trent Dilfer was discussing the most underrated quarterbacks and Romo was at the top of his list. He said something along the lines of, "if anyone ever tries to tell you Romo isn't a good quarterback, I recommend you stop talking to that person about football because they clearly lack a competent knowledge of the game."

residential neighborhoods are money laundering fronts

Explain how a residential neighborhood can be a money laundering front? Have you actually spent a considerable amount of time in El Paso or you are just making superficial judgments?

Are there some money laundering business in El Paso? Of course. But is that really unique. Don't most major cities have their fair share of illegitimate businesses?

El Paso gets a bad rap because its on the border of Mexico. The fact is though its one of the safest cities in the U.S. 1, and the people are very friendly, there is an abundance of culture, and there are some amazing outdoor activities. I realize a lot of this is very subjective, but if you are going to shit all over El Paso, at least have something more than "people live in total la la land" to back up your argument.

I don't have cable :/ And it's more like put on as background noise while I get ready in the mornings, than it is watching. I happened to notice that sign though while glancing at the TV.

It's perfectly OK to be from El Paso, go to another college, and be proud of your ties and affiliation with that college. After all, the person holding the poster in the Today Show could be a UT grad, and then I'm the douche here. But tahcoboy is right, there are those people who never went to a University yet passionately support some big national school like UT (mainly because of sports) and shit all over UTEP.

Cuts out best part from video where he reaches out and grabs the balls

Ten police officers were arrested after the owner of a used auto-parts business filed a complaint accusing the officers of kidnapping and torturing him because he refused to pay them a bribe. He was burned to death inside his home in Juarez right before he was scheduled to testify. by allliein worldnews

As a native El Pasoan dirtydela's statement is absoulutey false and quite bad for the reputation of the city when misleading information like this to be casually disseminated without prior investigation. El Paso has consistently ranked among the safest cities in the US, with abnormally low homicide rates. Could we please downvote this pursuant to rediquette as it does not contribute to the discussion. Not trying to be a jerk dirtydela, I just am passionate about people perceiving El Paso incorrectly.

CNN just ran a commercial urging viewers to tell congress to stop online piracy. Could we air our own commercial telling viewers to do the opposite? by Amerikhansin AskReddit

That American flag inside the light bulb was fucking disgusting. The strategy of passing this bill and similar bills under the the disguise of patriotism, or job creation, or protecting kids is pathetic. The most frustrating part about it is a large majority of Americans are so brain dead and too lazy to inform themselves that all it takes is a gimmicky 30 sec ad to convince them. No need for critical thought, if the TV says Americans are losing jobs then that bill should pass right!?

Congrats on your graduation! Coincidentally I think the t-shirt I'm wearing right now is the same design as your tattoo. Forgive my ignorance but what exactly is it? I bought the shirt for $5 at an art show because I thought the design looked cool.
