Technically not a coital interruption but when I used to live in Madrid and me and my friends would get shitfaced in parks every other weekend or so. One day we all split up to go hook up with our respective bitches and my friend with long hair was getting a handy on a bench when this nazi skinhead comes up, jerks my friend's hair to see his face, and promptly says, "Oh, sorry man, I thought you were some fucking dykes. If you like to party, I recommend joining a frat or living off-campus. Off-campus is also a lot cheaper, but the dorms are very social and they're great for meeting people at first. The best dorm right now is Poplar, you get your own bathroom and it's newer and nicer than the others. If that's too expensive then I recommend going for something on north campus, like McMahon.

DO NOT party in the dorms. I can not stress this enough. You have to be so careful to not get caught that it's never even fun. There are plenty of good spots around to get shitfaced or high as tits. This year, though, it seems like north campus has been a lot less strict than south campus so if you feel like you have to party in the dorms, go with north campus.

I haven't been apart of the Greek system, but every single frat house I've gone too has been completely trashed from partying and is smelly like vomit. You could always join a more study-focused frat though.

When I was in middle school my friends and I were fucking around with sharpies and drawing on eachother's arms and stuff. Along with many totally innocent drawings, my friend also drew the word "penis"on my hand and when I got back my dad just yelled the shit out of me. He told me that if I didn't come back from school the next day with my friend's parents' phone number (so he could yell thew shit out of them) then I shouldn't come back at all. I got an RG2228 last year and I haven't looked back. I feel limited by six strings now lol 1. Not a lot, especially if you have a decent grasp of theory. The neck on mine is very thin but if you had a Schecter 8 string you might need to get used to the fat neck.

String skipping is great to practice since you'll have a lot more distance to go. Other than that just learn your scales and how they apply to the lower strings. You should also not depend on an open string (like E) if your into metal. If you always relied on the low F# everything would be unnecessarily low IMO.
Yes, get something with clarity. Read up on Misha Mansoor's setup. That guy knows what's up when it comes to extended rage guitars and making them sound awesome.

My lowest string is .70, but i've heard people going as high as .75. All depends on the tension you like.
