It's not so much that it's a repost, I think most people would be okay if people labeled them "possible repost" or at the very least just didn't fucking lie about it in the link title. More people would be annoyed at OP for claiming he/she saw it on his/her newsfeed rather than just posting a repost.

Not exactly sure why you're disregarding Pippen and saying Bird or Barkley are the only options at the 3. Pippen was just coming off an NBA season where he averaged 21, 7.7, 7, 1.9, 1.1. He's arguably the best perimeter defender in the history of the NBA, and played more than Bird in the Olympics. He would also make life on the perimeter players of the Redeem team very, very hard.

Also, a 28 year old prime MJ would tear apart current Kobe and D-Wade, and the front court match up isn't even close.

Yeah but those kinds of upsets don't happen every year, and will happen even less often when it's from a pool of 8 teams instead of 64. You'll get the occasional upset, but it won't be consistent enough to not be screwing over the 7th worst team in the NBA on a regular basis.

Not the best solution because a lot of the time you'd end up giving a playoff team (pretty much) the #7 pick.

That, we do. This was an especially heartbreaking loss though, since we weren't expected to win by a long shot, and the trade had happened very recently. There was so much animosity towards Carter at that time, it made the backlash from Lebron's decision look like a complete joke when he went back to Cleveland.

On top of that, Vince slapped Mo Pete during the game and Mo Pete slapped him back as a referee turned around, and only ejected Mo, which made the place go ballistic.

We did have an epic chant for him when we played him in the playoffs though (Where he beat us again):

Vince Carter's buzzer beating 3 to beat the Raps in his first game back at the ACC after the trade. He had a stupid amount of buzzer beaters against us.
