Some Kahlua is a good call. Probably ought to add in a bottle of Bailey's too. I got another suggestion elsewhere for some non-spiced rum for Long Island Ice Teas and so forth. All seems like good advice.

It's a drawback that makes the last less useful than a Shimmering Grotto if you're casting something that's not the creature type you called. It essentially limits the usefulness of Cavern of Souls to tribal decks, or decks with a very limited number of important bomb creatures. This is why it's not an automatic 4-of in most decks. It's only seeing real play in Standard in Wolf Run Ramp (calling Giants, for the titans) and Humans (calling, obviously, humans). A deck like Delver, for instance, or Red/Green Aggro, gets no reliable utility from the land.

Be confident and take control. Don't ask her, just tell her when you're going out, then pick her up. And stop with the texting. Talk to her in person. If you must text, keep it short and to the point. A good rule of thumb is to text her once for every two times she texts you.

Typically, you can set them to start recording when there's motion, they don't need to run constantly. Alternately, you can have it just snap a shot every five seconds.

It doesn't. I see people here in [1] /r/greyhounds with pictures of hounds that are off-leash (in areas that are apparently not fenced), and it's scary. I've been on a lot of greyhound searches, and one simply cannot trust an off-leash greyhound. Don't do it.

This, this, a thousand times this. Trust kills. Keep them on-lead, or in a fenced area. They're not escape artists (most of them, anyway, there's always exceptions) but if they're off lead and something catches their eye - they're gone. And you can't catch them.

Different people desire different things from a game. While I think aesthetics are important, I also value hard-hitting combat and immersive roleplay.

Sadly, I can't find a game with all three. :)

I still feel like I can better help you with more information. How physical are you looking for the combat to be? Contact just with weapons, or physical contact OK?

I think, as of right now, based on what you've said so far, I'd tell you to check out Biccolline in Quebec, or Drachenfest in Germany, however neither of those is native English speaking (you'll be OK at Biccolline, though. Don't know about Drachenfest).
