Someone please explain to me what being on antidepressants is like. by asitwasin depression

[–]invisiblejp 0 points1 point ago

My mood became more stable, I didn't experience such intense lows and intense highs as I did before.

Started taking them at 19, noticed an initial change after about 6 weeks, may have been a little longer.

I would say it's worth it for the most part, If you do drink at all, you can expect a little change in the alcohol department.

I generally felt better, now 23 - just started taking them again after being off them for one year. The only was is up as Yazz would say.

Could changing putters help my aggressive putting? by MmmDarkBeerin golf

[–]invisiblejp 0 points1 point ago

The problem might be that you're not getting any feedback from your bat. Because the putter is 'crap' chances are that it isn't giving you anything to judge pace due to the low quality 'tinny' materials and as you rightly say, having no consistency. Odyssey white ice and white hot putters give a nice feel with the synthethic compond insert in their putters.

Advice on what to get...3-wood or hybrid? by elementninety3in golf

[–]invisiblejp 1 point2 points ago

sorry, this has been archived and can no longer be voted on

Its a difficult one, if you feel you can hit your 4-iron well then I would opt for the 3-wood.

A low lofted hybrid is going to go a fair distance, possibly longer than you're experienced 5-wood.

What are the possible negative affects of using a shaft that is too flexible? by StressTestin golf

Greater inconsistency especially off the tee. An X-stiff low torque shaft for your driver is something you might consider if you are swinging at the club head speed you mentioned.

Reddit, give me your best "my parents suck with computers" stories. by off_task_in_schoolin AskReddit

My mother is utterly useless when it comes to computers. She had a friend email her a joke and wanted to read it (my dad set up her email account for her and she has the address in her diary so she can give it to people). Anyway, she typed 'my email' in the search bar and couldn't understand why she couldn't find the correct 'box' to 'put the name in'. she also thought the cordless landline phone had an unlimited range, and since she doesn't have a mobile phone, she could take it to work with her and call us if she got stuck in the snow.

We have a deaf guy at my work and he is insanely good at lip reading. Sometimes I don't vocally say the words but just voice him them for fun and he can talk back to me.

City of Men is a good one if you are looking for inspiration and something a bit different. The two main characters give a great portrayal of growing up in a dangerous slum in Brazil, I think it was Rio. It makes me think that I don't have it that bad in comparison with these young fellows.
