Sitting for about 2+ hours while my mom attempted to set up AOL 1.0 on a dial-up modem, taking control and setting it up for her, then waiting for it to connect, then having it fail, then connecting to the "interwebs" in order for my mom to send an email to my aunt. I was about 9.

It is not irrelevant because for the most part evidence in rape cases gets washed away down the shower drain and this is why it becomes a he-said/she-said situation.
When things like this come out, it makes every woman who cries "rape" seem less credible.

Probably not the best present, but a fantastic one for the moment:
I moved to Cali with my boyfriend about almost two years ago, but this is our first time we are doing Christmas together/without our families. I've been pretty homesick and sad to think I won't be having any of my traditional holiday foods this year. Randomly (I've never mentioned it before), my boss bought me a box of Panetone (Italian holiday bread) for Christmas. This is what I eat EVERY Christmas morning with my family, but I didn't get it this year because it was too expensive. So basically my boss saved Christmas morning for me. I couldn't be happier! (THEN he gave me a big bottle of Chimay, which is one of my favorite beers, so he seriously rocked the gift this year!)

"Better safe than sorry" is my attitude. Just like, more likely than not if I run around in the rain holding a metal rod, I'm probably not going to get hit by lightening. But I probably will not do that just in case.

I don't have kids (waaaay too young and selfish) but people in my office keep talking about these damn ZhuZhu pets. What is it? A furby? It looks like a hamster or something. Does it do something fantastic? I don't know but the next person who talks about getting Zhuzhu pets for their kids is getting a potato in their tailpipe.

Sadly, no, I didn't tell anyone for years and dealt with the repercussions of being branded a whore early in high school because gossip is obviously a lot more attractive than truth at age 14. I heard much later that he had been charged with date-raping another girl, which, personally, is much more a punishment on me than anything else because now I feel responsible for someone else's rape. Pretty awful.

Agreed! It took a lot of self-restraint to not stand up in the IMAX with my sweet 3D glasses on and start beating up some nerds. Most people were annoyed by them so I probably would've been applauded and it would have been very amusing as I am a petite girl, but I couldn't justify getting kicked out midway through the movie and losing 18$ on the ticket.

I've never been one to wear lots of makeup, and when my guy friends asked me why, I told them its because its not a good idea to date a girl who wears tons of makeup all the time because more likely than not you are going to be surprised when you wake up in the morning.

Sorry, I'm just bitter: I went to the movie and loved it, but was distracted the whole time by the three nerd-boys sitting next to me dissecting every miniscule thing that was wrong with it and then elaborating about how it should have been improved.
