Don't buy the Assassin's Creed pack, it's cheaper to get it all separately, and still cheaper to upgrade it. by CloneDeathin Steam

Worse if you live in Europe, seeing as we get it for the same price in Euro as Dollars. Link The Googles kindly tell me that the Dollar is going for 0.785 Euro atm.

Does anyone know where/if you can still get macaroon bars? Those things were amazing, but I haven't seen them in a while. Not that it matters all that much, because even if I did see em it would cost a small fortune just to look at it.

That'll be [1] Henrietta Street for you then. Proper blast from the past so it is.

If you head up to Henrietta St, be sure to check out the Pipers Club. It's an institute for Irish trad music and events and all that. Nice place.

Do Irish people get tired of the stereotype that you're all really friendly/a friendly country? by alittlelikelolitain ireland

[–]jodius 4 points5 points ago

I'd consider myself the same and likewise I'm not entirely sure what it was that I did to alienate an entire Post office. I smiled and was pleasant everytime I went down, though I was on the dole so obviously wasn't ecstatic to be down there. By the end the money was quite litteraly thrown at me with barely a glance in my direction. So I figured I'd be a spiteful prick and be extra friendly.

[–]jodius 10 points11 points ago

I only realised then that I was smiling and saying hello out of spite at this stage

I love it when it gets to that point. It's that knowledge that your happiness and hospitality ruins their day to some extent that makes it so sweet. I have the entire post office down the road to me at that stage.
