I guess it is all about having empathy. And statistically speaking, someone you care about is attracted to children, you just don't know it yet. There are two types of child molesters. Some are genuinely demented, but the large majority are very ill, many victims of severe abuse themselves, and a significant number are children themselves. They usually do not realize they are committing rape when they do.

Chrome is the better all around browser, if you trust using a browser from an advertising company. Google is a publicly owned company with the sole purpose of earning profits for its shareholders. So everything they do is profit driven. You have to ask yourself how will they eventually monetize Chrome. If you are okay with the answer, use Chrome.

People don't realize this. They are not chopping any nuts off as the term would suggest. They are giving medicine that will significantly reduce sexual urges. Living with sexual urges you can't act on is extremely difficult, so this is actually the humane thing to do. It won't stop people who prey for control reasons, but it will allow people who were born attracted to children to live comfortable lives without endangering anyone.
