Head to a JCPenny and hit the Levi section - grab a bunch of different stuff and try it all, but go slimmer and tighter than you've probably been comfortable with in the past - the end result is worth it.

Rock the facial hour however you damn well please, just own it and keep it neat.

You might also want to head to an outlet store like gap and check for deals in the back on button downs. Their fit is generally better and you can get really good prices if you check in frequently enough.
