This are early flags of emotional abuse.

Just a heads up. Its possibly not intentional, but thats what it is. He disregards your feelings and puts them down, criticisizing consistantly. This is not good. You need to sit him down and lay down the law.

Tell him you're unhappy. Tell him that it isn't stupid and he can either listen and deal with these problems in "our" relationship, or he can leave. Explain, concisely whats wrong. Tell him he makes you feel bad, that his words are extremely hurtful and downright abusive. Make sure when you tell him these things, you're CALM. Do not raise your voice, do not take his bait. If he says you're over-reacting, and x y and z thing are stupid, tell him that he has every right to feel that way, but unfortunately you can't continue a relationship with him.

When he says are you serious, SAY YES.

For fucks sake, I dont know who you are, but you deserve better.

I was 1.5-2 hours into the beginning before I saw it. The rest of the game is 5 minutes of action, 5 minutes of cutscene REPEAT INDEFINITELY. I liked it, but it kind of annoyed me :/

It tends to be more pravalent in poly relationships. People in poly relationships tend to have less of a problem with talking openly about a myriad of topics that (at least in america) we're kind of raised to be ashamed of. Speaking from personal experience at least. There was a lot less "hiding things" and "I thought you'd be mad if..." in my poly relationships.

The only way you're going to get away with not driving is if you live downtown in one of the major cities

you dont have to be downtown. Just IN the major city. I've lived 15 miles out of downtown in seattle, and had no issues getting out and about (including work) and I dont have a license.

Portland makes it even easier (their transit system is amazing). Portland is also much cheaper to live in than seattle.

i get shit for the mousepad from my friends (i'm female, at first they always think its my boyfriend's).. Then I make them use it. Its the most comfortable mousepad I've ever used and its finally flattening. I dont like any of the other breast ones (or they are stupidly expensive) and I'm scared I'll never get a replace it :(

i just remember reading something from card (and if i can find it, i will link it) about how he didnt want the characters to be teenagers (in the film adaptation), because its not a story about adolescents.

Maybe he realized it just wasn't possible to do it another way.

Its just unsettling to me, that these people are all well into their teenage years. I understand 8-12 year olds playing 6-12. but these kids are 13-18 and playing 6-12 (not counting the older wiggins, of course)

as far as i know, the client runs everything. which would mean yes. Now, I could be wrong (IANAP) but that was my impression. I really dont think they had the resources at first to do it better on a risky project. This game could have flopped massively. Instead its gotten huge, and we're stuck witht this shitty client while they (hopefully) are trying to catch up with a much better one.

Three words : Adobe Air Client.

Fucking with their client requires an actual complete rebuild just so the thing doesn't run on Adobe Air. I guarantee you that Dota2 isnt running on it.

I would also bet dollars to donuts that they are working on it, and its going to take 1-3 years to be complete and tested and working as well as the air client. They can't just swap the client on the fly, it could destroy their user base by breaking the game.

Patches get delayed? Oh noes, I can just play for a couple weeks without a new champ. Client broken? Man.. I might just go try Dota2

It may be the actual thing you two need to deal with, like adults. Which also means comprimising on HER part. and if she wont, you have your answer, you need to leave.

You are going to have a hard time in this if you decide to move forward. Obviously the previous years (without kissing? Thats a little intense, I understand no sex, even no penetrative play, but.. Kissing?) haven't all been sunshine and light, but you really need to look at this honestly.

This is her way. If she's going to hold you back from kissing for three years, you do realize that there will always be a reason not to have sex, right? Always.

She has SERIOUS intimacy issues. Obviously. But the fact that she's 27 and still basing her life around pleasing her family, leads to some other kinds of issues. Is she Mormon/Jehova's Witness or another type of restrictive christian religion? Because those kind of upbringings can (not always - i dated a JW for 2 years just fine, I just had to behave a bit more carefully around the family) interfere with relationships. All religions can, I've just seen it more with more restrictive types.

When she doesnt want to do something, you're just going to have to deal with it. Is that how you envision your life? Its something to think about.
