I'm not brave enough to put pictures of myself on Reddit. I just keep it short and not fro'y at all. Use a little American crew fiber cream, or natural grease if I haven't showered that day, and tussle the top a bit.

Pretty standard short cut and styling really.

Exactly! I get it cut (recently just cut it myself) with a buzzer, usually a #5 on the sides and a #7 up top. At first, it looks too short, then a week later it looks good, and about 3 weeks after that it gets to the awkward poofy/wavy stage.

My hair's pretty similar, but brown. I had it long in high school, and reached fro proportions on occasion. Now I keep it shorter, and people don't even believe me when I say I have curly hair.

Addendum to this - if you buy a used car with tint, depending on your state inspection/inspection mechanic, you may have to have it checked by a cop.

My used impreza had 35% (legal limit in my state) on the sides and back. It was dark enough that my mechanic wouldn't sign off on it. I don't recall if there was a fee from the police or not to check it.

I've always had glass and friends who can roll well. I've been smoking regularly for close to 10 years now. I can roll if necessary, but I never volunteer. I've rolled, I think, 2 blunts, and maybe 5 joints.

I'm not hoping to get the new car in February or March next year, so I've got plenty of time, and will definitely be taking a BRZ or FRS for a test drive. This lack of a center console does seem worrisome though.

I currently have a miata and a 2 door impreza rs though, so the BRZ would be a great continuation of my car lineage.

Something that annoyed me more than I thought it would was no padded armrest on the center console - there are cup holders there instead, so your elbow is out in space.

That sucks. I'm contemplating a new car - I'm 24 and want something fun for a daily driver. Right now I'm thinking GLI. I'm not having kids any time soon, so I don't need four doors, but I do want something comfortable. I'm in sales, so I drive a lot for work, so I guess the FRS/BRZ is out of the question because of that.

You can just use Navigation shortcuts.

Longpress homescreen - shortcuts - directions and navigation.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but I just have a Home and Work shortcut in one of my docks. Tap the shortcut, and navigation to the destination comes right up.

My college had blue parking meters for handicapped spaces, and regular (brown?) meters for everybody else. I had a parking permit ($100 for the school year) to park in the lot near my residence. At some point they added green meters, which were apparently only for visitors, and kept some brown meters which were for visitors and students.

I needed to drop a check at the Bursar's office - I think for some minor damages from the previous year - and run some other errands, so I drove to the bursar, parked in the parking garage, and dropped a coin into the meter. I was inside for 10 minutes max, dropping off my check.

On the way out, I see the parking enforcement guy writing me a ticket.

Apparently I parked in a visitor's spot. Since I had an expensive student parking permit sticker in my window, I was not allowed to park there.

tl;dr - I got a parking ticket for parking in a spot that I wasn't allowed to park in, because I paid for a student parking permit, while parking to give the school money for other stuff.

I originally played Skyrim on my PC hooked up to my TV in my living room with a 360 controller.

When I moved my PC to my bedroom, I just installed the inventory UI mod, and easily transitioned to mouse and keyboard.

That seems so crazy to me. In my state, I don't need a permit or anything - just go to the gunshop, watch a 30 minutes safety video, give my info, and wait for ~7 days. If you aren't a convict, it's that simple.

The new TDI is rated at 32 city/40 highway. There's a recent news story of a couple that averaged 67.9 mpg on a full tank.

New Civic is rated 28/39.

The GLI is 23/32, and from reviews I've read, people can get high 30s if they're easy on it.

Golf gives you more interior space if you move big things/have a dog/bike/do outdoorsy things that take space to transport. Sedan (imo) looks better.
