Are you sure? Maybe they just moved it into audio properties? I think by definition this has to be built into the audio driver if its going to effect output from all sources. Otherwise go with a player like you're using that has one built in (winamp).

The conventional wisdom on the election this year is that red states are very red this year, I mean koolaid red. Blue states are very blue, and swing states are significantly blue as well, ergo, Obama should win pretty easily. Also, he should not blow a dime in Kentucky, Texas, OK, etc

Exactly, there is a difference between changing your opinion on an issue and saying "here's why I've changed my mind" and repeating different viewpoints to different audiences on the same day without even admitting you said differently. How much of an impediment would it be to have a philosophy whereby once you take a stand on an issue you are wedded to that stand until the end of time no matter what circumstances or new information come to light. I really hope there aren't Conservative authors out there (cough cough Greg Re) that think changing your mind is never ok

Wouldn't this necessarily extend the recession for probably years, well into a Romney presidency and possibly through to the end of it, all for a possible pot of economic healthy gold at the very end? Some had said we just need to take our medicine and very long term everything will be better (and maybe it would be) but at the very least it would taint whoever is in charge of the country for the next 2-6 years

I see one immediate problem with their study. The name Chip Ellsworth III not only implies whiteness but richness and even inherited richness. I suspect liberals may be slightly biased against all three but inherited richness possibly the most. Unfortunately they changed more than one variable between the names leading us a little puzzled as to which conclusion to draw
