Someone messaged me asking why I reposted this, so I thought others might like to see the response I sent:

Ok reason for the repost was that I had this saved as a draft on a tumblr I have about dogs from like 6 months ago when this image first appeared, I posted it on an empty blog to test and suddenly it went crazy and then I realised it's because the avengers is out.

So I fully knew it was a repost, but I checked the past posts and it had been 5 months and i just felt that with the Avengers movie out and huge there was enough interest in it and enough people who had either not seen or forgotten it to warrant posting it again.

Wasn't a decision I took lightly haha, but I thought in this circumstance it was justified.

Wrong, so wrong. Example: You have a new product you've made yourself and you have set up a site where users can find out about it and even purchase one themselves. If someone comes across it and hits the share button, boom suddenly you could have yourself 10, 20 or 100 new customers.

TLDR: Shares and likes promote businesses, Zuckerberg probably makes the least out of anyone in the arrangement.
