Uhh neither. I love to make music, I know how to read music pretty well. I've been studying theory for about 6 years, and had jazz training for about 3 years. They're not samples, I played this all on my keyboard.

Yes. This sounds good. Better than controlling a pair of pants and dodging naked girls.

Here you go.

I wanted to get not only the after-sex part, but the bad sex part as well (hence the stopping and going of the tuba/banjo riff)

I posted this elsewhere, but I guess I'll cover all my grounds.

I would love to be in charge of music. I wish to be on the team because I'd think it would be a great learning experience, and people could benefit from someone who is very easy going and takes criticism very heavily. Past experience includes my music being featured on a surfing documentary called "21 Days Later".

I can compose in any genre that needs to be done. I am very flexible and very dedicated. :)

here's my MySpace, feel free to contact me on there: http://www.myspace.com/mantisgenome

and here's a promo video in which my music was used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1VlYj52I68

I have 6 years of theory under my belt, as well as 3 years jazz training, and 3 years of production. Very adaptable and can capture ANY mood conceivable.

Thanks!

Good question. I just kind of.. played. And it transformed into an orchestra piece. Sorry I didn't help. If you like video games, I'd recommend playing the Final Fantasy series for some great inspiration.

This was all done with Reason 4. And yes, I know my instrument selection was a bit unorthodox, but this was about composition. :) But now that I think of it, a delayed harpsichord is a bit silly.

Okay. Also, it was played live. I just overdubbed it a couple of times. I have been playing music for a very long time! Thanks for the advice though. I'll bring the harpsichord back in! I don't why I didn't initially. :P

So, upon listening to this on my system, it really doesn't sound any different. The bass doesn't have any sub frequencies, at all. I would add some, for sure. The drums aren't dubsteppy enough. If you listen to [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7_9pF0A4MQ](this) or [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7eudJU8mf0](this), you'll notice there are a few things going on.

First, there are a lot of subtle hi-hat hits in there that you can barely hear, but it makes all the difference. They also swing in half time, so add some shuffle. Don't just throw a kick on beat one, and a snare on beat three. Add some flavors in between! Be super liberal if you want and just add a bunch of weird bleeps and bloops in between too.

I would also reconsider the direction of the song itself. It doesn't really go anywhere, especially the beginning of the song where it randomly pauses. I don't know what type of dubstep you were aiming for, but make sure you at least have a good wobble, a good sub bass, some swinging drums, and maybe a small pad for some more flavors and atmosphere.

AIM s/n is dubwookiee by the way. :)

Yeah, my system is pretty damn good. And I do make some dubstep-esque beats, so I'll hit you up.
