Sorry, my post was misleading regarding marriage. It wasn't a 'fix'. We are happily married and get along as far more than friends. She used the commitment comment to try and not hurt my feelings.

sorry, should have stated. she's subsequently retracted the statement about commitment. she said that to get out of saying she was unhappy with my physical appearance. When I did lose a bit of weight, the sex increased so I don't think its a "just friends" thing.
