Thank you very much:) I know cops are not popular here, but she really is the most moral, fantastic person I know. She is very spiritual, though not religious(she reads a lot of sci-fi, and she has some really cool theories about what kind of being/s God could be). She always tries to do the right thing.

The really sad part is her naivete. She really had no idea that doing her job(upholding the law) would get her in such a mess. I encouraged her in the first place to take the classes and attend the Academy. She has always wanted it, and she felt, as did I, that she could do some real good in that job.

It breaks my heart that her optimism is being crushed and trampled upon right now. These motherfuckers are lucky that she is so nice. The girl has trained in Taekwondo and Karate for over 15 years. She is a black belt. She is taken advantage of still, though, because she is a 5'0" tall black girl. Sometimes I fantasize about her just coming in to the locker room and beating all of those dudes down.

Even sadder: the other women on the force(there are only a few, she says) are so obsessed with being accepts that not one of them has defended her. I wonder if this is what happens to the Good Cops. They don't last long. Sorry for rambling. It just makes me angry. Cheers.
