A mining super profits tax was proposed to help with infrastructure like this, but the mining industry fought it and now there is a watered down version which won't cover infrastructure like this. So I say, fuck em. Pay for it yourself you greedy pricks. Half of you won't be able to see yourself in BRW rich lists if you have to pay for roads, but you will still better off than parts of the economy your industry is indirectly killing.

I share the authors concern, it parallels that of "climate change". We all know there is a broad scientific conspiracy by 97% of climate scientists to claim climate change is caused by man and will have a negative impact. Then we get hero's like Lord Munckton challenge their lies and he is belittled and dismissed by the climate science mafia. Munckton is a Lord for christs sake! That title has to respected, even by scientists and what he says regarded as rock solid fact.
