Growing up my dad bought us a dog he named Kitty, a cat named Puppy, and a parrot named Jeff. He taught Jeff how to say Puppy and Kitty's names, which would cause Kitty to freak out and bark constantly. Dad found it hilarious. What are some things your parents did that convinced you they were crazy?

Yes, nothing posted on the internet is every done so as a joke and no one ever uses profanity in a humorous way. It's actually illegal.

Think whatever you want when you see the picture. I always laugh because my dog does the same thing when i get home from work and I know for a fact he's not abused in any way.

where did i say every one was out of love? i said there is zero evidence from this picture that the dog is abused. it's possible he was abused, but certainly not evident here

people keep reading submissive as a bad thing, which is where this whole problem arises. dogs can absolutely smile at you when they are happy, but they generally only smile at people they are submissive to, or see as their "master". A dog generally won't smile at anyone or anything that he thinks he dominant over.

I posted this in response to someone else in this thread: every time this picture is posted someone says what you just did and they are wrong each time. the dog is smiling because he is showing submission to his owner. dogs show submission to let you know that they realize you are the boss and they are cool with that . Being submissive does not mean he is afraid. it's always alleged that this owner must hit his dog to get him to smile like that, but there is zero evidence of that.
