If the article is any indication then TED is right not to post. That's because demand does not create jobs or wealth. Delivering goods and services to fulfill that demand does, IF and only if the providers can figure out how to add value and not lose money in the process.

Just think about it. There is currently a large demand for anti-gravity shoes. If you had them you could sell them right now. BUT they don't exist. Demand alone is not enough to employ anyone.
